Hello, I'm Danny. I'm a self-taught video producer from England, living in Spain, and I'm now building AI workflows for content.
From the age of nine, I wanted to be a professional rugby player, which I was lucky enough to do, until an injury stopped me from playing. I'd already edited my first video in 2014, about my own rugby career.
So I asked myself: what do I want to do next? I bought a £16 camera off eBay, booked a one-way ticket and, in 2017, started a travel channel on YouTube, Dishy Dan The Travelling Man. Dishy came from my love of food. Dan, well, it's my name, and I think you can guess the rest.
I soon realised I loved filming and editing, and businesses started asking me to make videos for them, so in 2019 I set up my own company, Dishy Dan Media. That led to freelance and contract work, including running YouTube and production at Nomad Capitalist, a channel with over 850,000 subscribers.
In 2023 I started an AI channel, The Future Fuel Cafe, to try out the AI tools. People saw what I could do and started asking me for AI video work, which is how I ended up working with Hance AI.
Each topic for The 600, my YouTube channel about living abroad, took about four hours of research and writing, so I built a workflow in n8n that does the first draft in about four minutes. I check every piece myself before it goes out.

What I'm learning now
I've made video for over ten years, so I know the work these tools are meant to speed up. That means I can tell when the output is good and where a person still needs to step in.
I use AI where it's useful and I'm clear about its limits. I've used AI video generators since the early versions in 2023, when I started The Future Fuel Cafe. I've watched them improve with each release, so I know what each one does well and where it falls down. Kling and Topaz Labs are the ones I've used most on professional work. They speed up the slow parts. The judgement and the fact-checking stay with me.
I'm still learning AI automation, building and testing new workflows as I go, and I add them to this site as I finish them.

- 2017 Filmed a review of the Shelby F-150 Super Snake at Top Marques Monaco for Gentleman Car, who put it on their website
- 2019 to 2025 Dishy Dan Media, my own video business: commercial, event and wedding films
- 2020 Led and produced the video for The Atlas Foundation's Around the World in 7 Days fundraiser, which raised over $25,000. The charity was founded by Jason Leonard
- 2023 to 2024 Video Producer at Newsflare. My content reached over 12 million views
